Frequently Asked Questions

Window Cleaning Questions

Q: How do you do your bids over the phone, don't you need to see my house?

A: It is a very simple process that takes about 5 minutes right over the phone and consists of about 20 easy questions. No counting or measuring is necessary. Dan has been doing this long enough that it is very rare when he needs to see the house he is bidding on. Dan is in the office Monday - Friday taking calls.

Q: Do I need to count or measure my windows before I call you?

A: No.

Q: Do I need to remove my screens?

A: No, we remove your screens and reinstall them.

Q: Do I need to move furniture?

A: No, we move furniture as needed, however if you have family heirlooms and little treasures around or near your windows, you might consider moving them.

Q: Do I need to be home?

A: No, however, we certainly would like to meet you the first time, but it is entirely up to you.

Q: Do you clean both the insides and outsides of windows?

A: Yes we do, however some people choose to do the insides themselves. We can provide you with the service you choose.

Q: What do you do if there is bad weather?

A: We prefer to reschedule your cleaning to a day with better weather. We work year round, but naturally we have more rescheduling due to weather in the winter.

Q: How far in advance do I need to call to schedule my window cleaning?

A: April through December are our busy months, so it is prudent to plan a week or so in advance.

Q: Do you guarantee your work?

A: We aim to please, so if you see something you can’t live with just feel free to call and we will get out to touch it up as soon as possible.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes, and you may request a certificate of liability insurance. We will have our insurance agent fax or mail it to you.

Q: What process do you use to clean gutters?

A: Unlike some companies, we do not use a leaf blower. This method is not effective enough. We dig out the debris by hand, flush out the gutters and snake out the downspouts if necessary. We then bag up the debris and haul it off for you.

Q: Can I have my windows and gutters cleaned on the same day?

A: Yes.

Q: When is the best time to have my gutters cleaned?

A: When they are full of debris. Damage can occur to your home if water cannot flow out of your downspouts properly.
