What a weekend!  Unfortunately for everyone hoping to get out and enjoy hiking or biking over this last June weekend, the rains came instead.  I saw Golden was hammered with hail and parts of Evergreen too.  I am sorry for all the lost gardens.

Wow.  I am certainly no pro at figuring how to show up on Google searches, but finally after lots of monkeying around we are near the top in many of the basic searches I would expect people to use.  Searches like Denver Window Cleaning, or Denver Window Washing are bringing us up.  We like to ask our customers how they hear about us - because that only makes sense, but so many times when they say they did a Google search like Arvada Gutter Cleaning for instance, I marvel, because when I have tried that I can’t find us.  But…something is working because we are now showing up in the results on the first page and often near the top.  Fabulous!!!

I am not sure why, but ads are now on our website and we did not ask for them to be put there!!!!!!!!!  I apologize if they are obnoxious (which I completely think they are) or offensive (which, ewwww they better not be), but at the moment I don’t know how to make them go away.  I have not signed up for Google ads or anything else, so why they are there I do not know.  Please bear with us while we figure this out.

How is it possible that my lilacs are blooming and my crab apple trees are in full flower?  It is almost September!!!  Well it seems the ecosystems of Lakewood, Wheatridge and Arvada are all messed up from the big storm in July.  The hail destroyed the leaves of so many plants that they seem to be unsure of which season it is and are thinking they are coming out of winter and into spring.  My children who regularly suffer from some mild allergies in May are experiencing them all over again.  Hrrrumph!!  Well, maybe we will get summer all over again too.

These crazy storms are major contributors to packed gutters and it is a good idea to get them cleaned out before the leaves fall for a second round and cause some real problems for homeowners.

I don’t know why spring brings on the cleaning bug in me.  It must be some ancient rite built into our DNA or something.  All I know is that it is the time of year to clean everything - windows and gutters are a must.  Then of course with all the spring events like graduations and Memorial Day and weddings and such, we can enjoy the bright sparkly view with our dear guests.

Maybe that cleaning desire comes from the fact that we will be outdoors all summer in the garden and we don’t care so much about indoor projects.  Hmm.  Something to ponder…or not.
