Denver is a beautiful city and we couldn’t be more grateful to have the mountains so close and so many outdoor activities.  And as a result of our spectacular weather and sunshine there are many window and gutter cleaning companies.  However, most come and go quickly.  But, did you know that we are one of Denver’s largest residential window cleaning companies?  We may in fact be the largest and have been around since 1994.  Plus we service the surrounding cities and go into the mountains regularly to Evergreen, Conifer and occasionally a bit farther.  We are very grateful for our extensive customer list and for the many referrals that we get.  In fact, we offer referral discounts if you didn’t know.  We are also absolutely committed to pleasing our customers and that is why we have so many who are loyal and have been with us for well over a decade.  Its a beautiful thing.

Well, not quite, but my kids only have 2 weeks left of summer and I can’t believe it.  This summer has flown by - they just got out of school and here they are heading back.  Absolutely nuts.  I don’t know why, but as crazy as it is I like to start the school year fresh and clean and organized just like my children.  So, oddly enough clean windows and gutters are a lovely thing to have done right before the kids go back.  Plus I’ll deep clean my house so when I drop off my kids I can kick back if only for 1 cup of coffee and thoroughly enjoy the clean and the quiet.

We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, and Visa.   We’ll even take gold and silver.  We do appreciate payment at the time of completion of service from our residential customers.  We understand that commercial customers often need 30 days to process the invoice through their Accounting Department - that is no problem at all.  We used to give our residential customers that long as well, but unfortunately, 30 days often turned into 90 days.  We would love to be able to give “credit” to our customers, but the nature of how our bills are due does not allow for that.  We simply ask that you pay when the job is complete.  Thank you so much.

Many people wonder when are the best times of year to get your windows and gutters cleaned.  The best answer we can give is to have your windows and gutters cleaned when they need it.  After the leaves fall in the autumn is a good time to have gutters cleaned.  Many people have their gutters cleaned in the spring so that the rains aren’t a problem.  But depending on your landscaping, you may need your gutters cleaned every other month or once a year.  If you have trees overhanging every gutter, you will need them cleaned far more often than the new home with baby trees. 

As for window cleaning, the mountain communities often wait until the pollen has stopped blowing.  In the metro area, there doesn’t seem to be a need like that, but people generally do like to start spring out with clean windows and then have them cleaned again for special occasions.  The holdiays of course and parties etc.  The bottom line though is that there is no “right” time to get your windows and gutters cleaned.  Have them cleaned when they need it.

What a weekend!  Unfortunately for everyone hoping to get out and enjoy hiking or biking over this last June weekend, the rains came instead.  I saw Golden was hammered with hail and parts of Evergreen too.  I am sorry for all the lost gardens.  

Flooding in your basement is often caused by gutters in need of cleaning.  Many times they will overflow and saturate the soil near the foundation and if you have a crack or a window well, the water will find its way through.   Cleaning the gutters is a simple fix that is often overlooked and for cheap maintenance it will avert so many bigger and more expensive problems.  Well worth it!!

I have heard of acid rain, but mud rain is something I have never really seen before.  Apparently a storm carrying dirt and dust from the southwest dumped on us here in Denver leaving a coating of dirt on everything including all of our windows.  What a mess.  We have had a lot of calls regarding the extra dirty windows we all seem to have and we’ve been busy cleaning up after this storm.  Give us a call and we can take care of your windows as well.

Wow.  I am certainly no pro at figuring how to show up on Google searches, but finally after lots of monkeying around we are near the top in many of the basic searches I would expect people to use.  Searches like Denver Window Cleaning, or Denver Window Washing are bringing us up.  We like to ask our customers how they hear about us - because that only makes sense, but so many times when they say they did a Google search like Arvada Gutter Cleaning for instance, I marvel, because when I have tried that I can’t find us.  But…something is working because we are now showing up in the results on the first page and often near the top.  Fabulous!!!

Every spring we mail out our reminder card to all of our previous customers.  We usually try to beat the rise in stamp prices which has occurred around May14th each of the past few years.  This year we will be sending it out as well, but ideally we would like to transition out of paper mailings to emailings.  This is good for many reasons:  It will save us a bunch of money, it is altogether more efficient, we can send little discounts, promotions and little surprises to our most loyal customers and it is less wasteful (no paper used).  It really is a good deal all around and if you sign up for our email list you will get a 5% discount just for doing that.

Spring in Colorado is upon us and that means gutters are overflowing and backing up under the shingles and causing all sorts of problems.  70 degrees one day, 2 feet of snow the following day, then 65 degrees after that is typical for spring here, but gutters full of autumn leaves are going to be useless.  We can clean your gutters out and make them function properly so you don’t have damage to your eaves and fascia.   You certainly don’t want your basement to flood because your window wells fill with water from overflowing gutters and flow right into your basement.  Maintenance is important, so give us a call before the wild weather leaves you with a big repair bill.
