Selling Your Home?

Many homes go on the market in the spring and the homeowners are busy preparing their homes for the potential buyers who will be walking through.  Two low cost improvements which can really help with first impressions and the appearance of a well maintained home are window cleaning and gutter cleaning.  If you haven’t had your gutters cleaned in awhile - it can send a message that you don’t maintain your home very well.  And clean windows add a cleanliness and brightness to a home that definitely helps with that all important first impression.  Give us a call and we will help prepare your home for a quick sale.   We can give you an over the phone estimate and get you on the schedule ASAP.  303-431-1288.

16 Years and Counting…

The Window Man has been the Denver and surrounding area’s premier window and gutter cleaning service for a long time now.  We have thousands of happy customers and have developed some lifelong friends with the good people who work with us.  As spring approaches and another busy season is just ahead it is nice to reflect on our past year’s of hard work and successes.  Thank you to all of our loyal customers who keep coming back year after year - we will strive to continue pleasing you with excellent customer service and pristine windows and gutters.  And thank you to all of our new customers who we are delighted to have and we hope we can serve you again for many years to come.

Time Flies!

Is it really almost mid February?  Where did January go?  I am not complaining - the sooner spring comes the happier I am, but it is really shocking how fast time flies.  Today there is a new beautiful blanket of snow on everything outside.  If your windows are filthy, you’ll have to go out into the cold to see it, but it is quite lovely.  And if you look out and think there is a fog in the air you should definitely give us a call.  We only have a short couple months left of these beautiful sparkly snows before spring takes over and you wouldn’t want to miss the beauty of it all by having dirty windows.  The week will end bright and dry and we’ll be back to work, so give us a call.

WINDOW AND GUTTER CLEANING

What a great day -  50 degrees and beautiful.  Not bad for early February.  If this keeps up we’ll be seeing crocus popping up soon, but I know winter isn’t over.  However, when we have such a lovely stretch of warmer days it is a great time to get your windows and gutters cleaned.  Gutters aren’t frozen right now, so if you have a bunch of debris needing to be removed, give us a call.  We can clear your gutters before any spring rain comes.  Call to get an over the phone bid and schedule - 303-431-1288.

Selling Your Home?

Window cleaning is a small price for a big improvement that really adds a lot to the first impression of a home.  When a potential buyer walks into a home and the windows are sparkling they will feel like the home is clean and has been well maintained.  Inspectors point out dirty gutters and if they are overflowing it does send a message to the prospective buyer that the property needs work.  If you are selling your home get your windows and gutters cleaned and you will be that much closer to closing a deal.

39 Degrees in the Shade

That is awesome.  We are out there cleaning windows and gutters.  It is not too cold.  Give us a call to schedule your window or gutter cleaning, because despite the cool weather, we can get it done.

Why blog?

I have heard people complain about how everyone is blogging these days and that nobody really cares what everyone has to say.  I actually must agree, so I want to clarify on the true purpose of blogging.  There are some really interesting writer types who frankly have some good stuff to say.  I however am not one of them.  So, why do I blog?  Who really cares about the thoughts of a service company owner - that really is a good question.  But a better question is why do we have a website to begin with?  To advertise.  How do customers find us?  Google brings our website up when people type in things like Denver Window Cleaning or Evergreen Gutter Cleaning.  Why might Google bring us up as a result to a search?  Because of silly blogs showing regular activity, and using keywords and taglines.  That is it.

So yes, everybody is blogging these days…and most of them are trying to make a living and strangely enough silly blogging is a tool to use in marketing.  It is that simple.  And then if I ever really have some amazing genius thoughts -  you’ll be the first to know.

Winter Window Cleaning

Winter is a good time to have your windows cleaned.  Some might think waiting until spring makes sense, but actually now is such a great time to brighten up your home.  The dust from the breaking down leaves, and the wind from frigid January leaves behind a coating of dirt on everything.  Dust and dirt everywhere.  Your home will sparkle as you look forward to the green of spring again and it will make the long winter much brighter.  Call us for a free over the phone estimate and we will help bring down that spring fever.

Happy New Year!!!

It is time to make those New Year’s Resolutions.  Now I’m not saying #1 on the list should be to have your windows and gutters cleaned monthly, cause we know that is a pretty lofty goal.  We should try to be a little more realistic and say, quarterly cleanings…yeah, that is better.   What?  It doesn’t deserve to be at the top of the list?  Okay,  #1 can be something less physical, maybe a more spiritual goal - along the lines of becoming a better more loving person.  And #2 can be the all important lose 10 lbs goal, but then really it seems fitting that the window and gutter cleaning goal come next.  It is perfect - a spiritual goal, a physical goal and the window and gutter cleaning goal.

Ahh, this year is off to a good start.  :o)

Baby, Its Cold Outside

I really can’t stay.  Now baby, its cold outside.  I got to go away.  Now baby, its cold outside…

What is it with cold days like today and that song?  It sticks in the head worse than just about any other.   Now that the New Year has arrived, I am ready for crocus to start blooming, then tulips, then I can plant peas and lettuce and then school will be out, then summer will be here, then fall and the holidays and yikes, another year will pass.  I need to slow down and enjoy these snowy frigid days.  We aren’t out cleaning windows or gutters today, but by the weekend things will be warming up and we can get busy again next week.

Give us a call and we’ll be happy to get you singing  ”Baby, Its Cold Outside” too, while we are cleaning your windows and gutters.  It is contagious.  Happy New Year!
